Damnuan Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province, about
85 kms from Bangkok.

King Rama IV ordered that this Damnuan Saduak canal be dug in 1866 to connect two rivers.

The fertile land around the canal allows folks to grow the produce you see in the boats: mangoes, bananas, coconuts, chinese grapefruit and more.
